FORMAT:Public Hearing
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The project is the development of a new
neighborhood park including the mass grading of approximately 3.17
acres. Amenities include a new playground, walking paths, drinking
fountain and associated site improvements. Construction of the project is
anticipated to begin late April 2020 and will be substantially completed
by October 2020.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND FORM OF CONTRACT FOR:
City of Waukee Alice Nizzi Park
Public notice is hereby given that the City of Waukee will conduct a public hearing on plans,
specifications, and form of contract on March 2, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. local time at the Council
Chamber in City Hall, 230 W. Hickman Rd., Waukee, IA 50263 for the Alice Nizzi Park Project. At
said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections to the proposed plans,
specifications, contract, or estimated cost of the public improvement.
The Project consists of, but is not limited to, construction of a new playground, walking paths
and associated site improvements at Alice Nizzi Park in Waukee, IA, located at 715 NE
Dellwood Drive, Waukee, IA 50263.
Copies of the plans and specifications and other contract documents are now available for
inspection at the following locations:
