SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The 2020 ADA Sidewalk Improvement project is to
complete ADA sidewalk improvements at various locations within the City of Waukee. This
project includes approximately 95 LF of curb and gutter, 121.5 SY of sidewalk, and 114.6 SY of
shared-use path, construction survey, surface restoration, traffic control, and other miscellaneous
work needed to complete the project.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
2020 ADA SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above
referenced public improvements at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020. Due to public health
concerns and guidance, in accordance with Iowa Code Sections 21.4(1)(b) and 21.8, this meeting
of the Waukee City Council will be conducted electronically as holding the meeting in person is
impossible or impractical. However, the public is encouraged to access the meeting
electronically in the manner specified below.
