AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a Motion to set a Public Hearing Date of
June 15, 2020, as the date of public hearing on an ordinance to amend
Chapter 169, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning and
changing certain property therein to modify PD-1 (Planned Development
Overlay District) [Painted Woods South]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a request from the developer
of Painted Woods South, located west of Ute Avenue and north of
Interstate 80 to amend provisions within the existing Planned
Development document for the property. Specifically, the applicant is
requesting revisions to the architectural requirements that were specified
within the original Planned Development Overlay for the smaller sized
lots that were approved.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for
June 15, 2020, to further discuss the proposed amendments.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
