AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 2 to Hilton Displays for the
Waukee Community Entrance & Placename Signage Project decreasing the
contract in the amount of $1,440.00. .
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The original contract with Hilton Displays included
restoration work surrounding the new sign construction along University
Avenue. A separate contractor has previously been hired for the installation
of plantings around the sign.
In order to coordinate the plantings and restorations, it made since to take the
restoration requirements out of the contract with Hilton Displays and hire
Midwest Landscape to complete the restoration at the same time as the
plantings are installed. The cost of the restoration is $1,440.00 and it is
recommended that it be eliminated from the contract with Hilton Displays.
