substantial accordance with the plans and specifications.

RESOLUTION 2020-
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WAUKEE COMMUNITY
ENTRANCE & PLACENAME SIGNAGE
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of June, 2019, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee,
Iowa, entered into a construction contract with Hilton Displays, LLC, of Greenville, SC, for the
construction of certain public improvements generally described as the Waukee Community
Entrance & Placename Signage; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public
improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and
specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on May 18, 2020:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE, STATE OF IOWA:
Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted, and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been fully
completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract and the total final
construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $80,485.68, as shown in the report of the
Engineer.

We hereby certify that we have made an on-site review
of the construction of the Waukee Community Entrance
& Placename Signage project by Hilton Displays.
As Engineers and Architects for the project, it is our
opinion that the work performed is in substantial
accordance with the plans and specifications and that the
final amount of the Contract is Eighty Thousand, four
hundred and Eighty-Five, 68/100 Dollars ($80,485.68).
