AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting August 3, 2020 as the date of
public hearing on the vacation of a public ingress/egress easement [The Shops
at Kettlestone North Plat 1]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: At the time the property located at the northeast corner of
the intersection of Grand Prairie Parkway and SE Ashworth Road was platted,
a public ingress/egress easement was granted along the east 30 feet of the
property. Since the original final plat, the property has been replatted and a
new ingress/egress easement has already been provided based upon a new
alignment. The original ingress/egress easement is no longer required.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for August 3, 2020 to discuss the vacation of the existing
easement.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
