AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Warranty Deed [Prairie
Bluff Drive]
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City Council recently approved a final plat for Painted
Woods South Plat 1 which included the extension of Prairie Bluff Drive
through the development. As a part of the public improvements associated
with the final plat, a portion of Prairie Bluff Drive extended across property
located directly west of the property within Painted Woods South Plat 1. The
owner of the adjoining property has provided the necessary warranty deed for
acceptance of the portion of Prairie Bluff Drive that is located outside of the
limits of the final plat.

RESOLUTION 2020-
APPROVING WARRANTY DEED WITH PAINTED WOODS FARMS, LLC [PRAIRIE
BLUFF DRIVE]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City approved a final plat for Painted Woods South Plat 1 which included the
extension of Prairie Bluff Drive; AND,
WHEREAS, as a part of the improvements with the final plat, a portion of Prairie Bluff Drive was
required to be extended over property owned by Painted Woods Farms, LLC.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, that
the warranty deed for the extension of Prairie Bluff Drive over and across property owned by
Painted Woods Farms, LLC be approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 6th day of April,
2020.
