AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of receipt and file of the purchase of a 2021 Chevrolet
Silverado 1500 from Shottenkirk Chevrolet of Waukee, Iowa in the
amount of $32,509.00.
FORMAT:Receipt/File
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City recently added an Engineering
Technician position, the truck currently driven by the Assistant Director of Public Works,
Operations will be relocated to that position. This purchase of the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado
will go to Asst. Director of Operations. The City sent bid requests to Shottenkirk
Chevrolet, Deery Dodge, and Stivers Ford, only one was received at the time the bids were
due.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $32,509.00
The vehicle will be paid equally from the Gas, Water, Streets, and Sanitary Sewer budgets.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve purchase of a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 from
Shottenkirk Chevrolet in the amount of $32,509.00.
