HomeMy WebLinkAbout2020-12-07-J01T City Hall Improvements_Change Order 5 AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: December 7, 2020 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 5 to Ball Team, LLC for the Waukee City Hall Improvements Project increasing the contract in the amount of $15,000. FORMAT: Consent Agenda SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The proposed change order is for the additional work that was necessary to create the deficiencies in the two vestibule areas that were discovered after the initial project was completed. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $15,000 COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The cost of this change order is being offset by a reduction in the contract with Shive Hattery so that the net cost to the City is $0.00. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the change order. ATTACHMENTS: I. Letter of Recommendation from Shive Hattery II.
