[VFW North Wall Repair Project]

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City entered into a contract with Edge Companies
LLC in June 2019 for some repair work to the north wall of the VFW building
located at 410 6th Street that is owned by the City. The project was completed
but was never excepted by the City.

RESOLUTION 2020-
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
[VFW NORTH WALL REPAIR PROJECT]
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of June, 2019, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee,
Iowa, entered into a construction contract with Edge Companies LLC of Grimes, Iowa, for the
construction of certain public improvements generally described as the Waukee VFW Hall North
Wall Repair Project; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public
improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE, STATE OF IOWA:
Section 1. That the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having
been fully completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract.
