alternate members of the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning
Organization (MPO) and primary and alternate members for the Des
Moines Area MPO Transportation and Technical Committee for the Year
2018

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City of Waukee must appoint or reappoint
persons to serve on the MPO and MPO TTC committees. No person
appointed as a representative to one committee may serve as a primary
representative or alternate on the other committee:
Primary Representative to MPO
Alternate Representative to MPO
Primary Representative to MPO TTC
Alternate Representative to MPO TTC

RESOLUTION 19-
APPROVING THE MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS
OF THE DES MOINES AREA METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION (MPO) AND
PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS FOR THE DES MOINES AREA MPO
TRANSPORTATION AND TECHNICAL COMMITTEE FOR 2019
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee must annually appoint or reappoint representatives to the Des Moines
Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and the MPO Transportation Technical Committee
(MPO TTC); AND,
WHEREAS, for the calendar year 2019, Mayor William F. Peard appoints ___________________ as
primary representative and _________________ as alternate representative to the MPO; AND,
WHEREAS, for the calendar year 2019, Mayor William F. Peard appoints ___________________ as
primary representative and _________________ as alternate representative to the MPO TTC.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 7th day of
January, 2019, that it hereby approves the Mayor’s appointments to the Metropolitan Planning
Organization and to the Metropolitan Planning Organization Transportation Technical Committee.
