AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Spring Crest Plat 5
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The subject property is located south of Hickman Road and west of 11th Street. The public
improvements associated with this plat include the installation of a public water main, public
sanitary sewer, and public storm sewer. An extension of Cedar Street will be completed as part of
the improvements. A total of 33 single-family lots are included within the plat area.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff is working with the applicant to address the last
few remaining comments related to the plans.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to remaining
staff comments.

RESOLUTION 19-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
SPRING CREST PLAT 5
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Spring Crest Plat 5; AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 21st day of January, 2019 that the Construction Drawings for Spring Crest Plat 5 be approved
subject to remaining staff comments.
