CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION
MEETING DATE: January 21, 2019
AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a Motion to set a Public Hearing Date of
February 4, 2019, as the date of public hearing on an ordinance to amend
Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by amending
Chapter 301.4, Establishment of Districts; Provisions for Official Zoning
Map, by repealing said section and enacting in lieu thereof the readoption
of the Official Zoning Map.
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The last official zoning map was adopted by the
City Council in March 2018. There have been several rezoning request
approved over the last year.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for
February 4, 2019, to further discuss an amended Official Zoning Map.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
