One, LLC, d/b/a Mixed [890 SE Olson Drive]
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The owners of Sportsplex West (890 SE Olson
Drive) plan to have a temporary food stand that will be opened when
their outdoor sand volleyball courts are in use. The food stand will serve
food prepared by Mixed located in West Des Moines as well as
refreshments including beer sales. They have been issued a temporary
use permit by the Development Services Department.
The applicant was approved for a similar liquor license in 2018 and there
were no issues during the six months of operation.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Police, Fire, and Development Services Departments
have reviewed the application and find no reason to deny the permit at
this time.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the liquor license.
