AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Prairie Crossing Plat 8
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The subject property is located north of Hickman Road and east of NE Westgate Drive. The plat
improvements associated with this development include the installation of public water main, and
public sanitary sewer. An extension of a private street, NE Bricktowne Drive, will also be
constructed.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff is working with the applicant to address the last
few remaining comments related to the plans.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution.

RESOLUTION 19-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
PRAIRIE CROSSING PLAT 8
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Prairie Crossing Plat 8;
AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 19th day of February, 2019 that the Construction Drawings for Prairie Crossing Plat 8 be
approved.
