AGENDA ITEM:On proposed plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost
[Westown Meadows Park Improvement Project]
FORMAT:Public Hearing
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The project is the development of a new
neighborhood park including the mass grading, fine grading and
provision of utilities to provide water, storm sewer, electrical service and
sanitary sewer to the site. Amenities include: paved parking, a
restroom/storage room building, playground, paved walking paths and
landscaping. This project also includes additive alternates for a wet play
area, additional paved trail and shaded shelters over a paved pad for a
picnic table. This project includes accommodations for storm water
management. Construction of the project is anticipated to begin late
April 2019 and will be substantially completed by October 2019.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
WAUKEE WESTOWN MEADOWS PARK IMPROVEMENTS
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the
above referenced public improvements at 5:30 PM, Central Time, on March 18, 2019 at
the Council Chamber in City Hall, 230 West Hickman Road, Waukee, Iowa 50263. At
said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the
cost of the improvements.
This project includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the
construction of the WAUKEE WESTOWN MEADOWS PARK IMPROVEMENTS, 2445
SE Willowbrook Drive, Waukee, Iowa 50263, generally described as follows:
