HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-04-01-J01V The Reserve at Daybreak Rezoning_Set PH AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: April 1, 2019 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a Motion to set a Public Hearing Date of April 15, 2019, as the date of public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning certain property from A-1 Agricultural District to R-1 Single Family Residential District (675 Century Circle Property) FORMAT: Motion SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a request for rezoning of approximately 3.14 acres of property from A-1 Agricultural District to R-1 Single Family Residential District. The property is located west of Ute Avenue and north of Ashworth Road, within The Reserve at Daybreak development. The applicant has provided the necessary consents from the adjoining property owners in order to begin the rezoning process. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for April 15, 2019, to further discuss the proposed changes.
