AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for The Shops at Kettlestone North Plat 6
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The subject property is located south of SE Tallgrass Lane and west of Grand Prairie Parkway. The
public improvements associated with this plat include the installation of a public water main and
sanitary sewer. In addition, the applicant will construct a private street, SE Encompass Drive.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff is working with the applicant to address the last
few remaining comments related to the plans.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to remaining
staff comments.

RESOLUTION 19-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
THE SHOPS AT KETTLESTONE NORTH PLAT 6
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for The Shops at Kettlestone
North Plat 6; AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 1st day of April, 2019 that the Construction Drawings for The Shops at Kettlestone North
Plat 6 be approved subject to remaining staff comments.
