AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting May 6, 2019 as the date of
public hearing on the annexation of consenting properties by the City of
Waukee, Iowa with consideration of the annexation taking place immediately
thereafter [Ute Avenue/Ashworth Road]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received petitions for annexation from three
property owners at the northeast corner of R-22 (Ute Avenue) and Ashworth
Road. The annexation would include approximately 32 acres.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend setting a public hearing date for
May 6, 2019 to further discuss the annexation proposal.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
