The construction includes approximately 207 square yard of trail removal, 1416 square yard of 6” reinforced trail, restoration, survey, traffic control, and other associated work. Construction will be substantially completed by the time school starts. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: RECOMMENDATION: Hold Public Hearing. ATTACHMENTS: I. Notice of Hearing and Letting PREPARED BY: Matt Jermier REVIEWED BY: H5 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Heart Of Warrior Trail Waukee, IA 50263 Public Hearing on Proposed Contract Documents and Estimated Costs for Repair or Improvement. A public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on the proposed contract documents (plans, specifications and form of contract) and estimated cost for the improvement at its meeting at 5:30 P.M. on May 6, 2019, at 230 W. Hickman Rd., Waukee, Iowa 50263. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is located north of Waukee High School and east of Ashworth Road. The construction includes approximately 207 square yard (SY) of trail removal, 1416 SY of 6” reinforced trail, restoration, survey, traffic control, and other associated work. At said hearing, the City Council will consider the plans, specifications, proposed form of contract, and estimated total cost for the project, the same now being on file in the office of the City Clerk, reference to which is made for a more detailed and complete description of the proposed improvements, and at said time and place the said City Council will also receive and consider any objections to said plans, specifications, estimate of cost, and form of contract made by any interested party.
