AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of Payment Estimate No. 2 (Final) to RW
Excavating Solutions, for the Sugar Creek Golf Course Water Supply Project
in the amount of $35,045.50.
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Payment Estimate No. 2 to RW Excavating Solutions is
for installation of sod, asphalt millings, erosion control mulching,
hydromulching, and final punch list items. The quantities completed to date
have been reviewed and agreed upon by the contractor, City of Waukee Staff,
and Bolten & Menk.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:$35,045.50.
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Approve Payment
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.

RE: Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course Water Supply Project – Final Pay Application
Dear Mr. Jermier:
Submitted for your approval is partial Pay Application #2 for the above mentioned project. This is the
final project pay application before project acceptance and release of retainage. Pay Application #2 is for
$35,045.50, bringing total project value less retainage to $152,084.31. The total retainage for the project
is $8,004.44, which will be released at project acceptance. The work completed includes final grading,
seeding and other site restoration activities. Please see Pay Application #2 for a full summary of the
items completed that are included in this payment.
Bolton & Menk, Inc. recommends the approval of Pay Application #2. Please let me know if you have
any questions.
