HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-05-06-J01Y Alyvia Plat 1 Rezoning_Set PH AGENDA ITEM: J1Y CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: May 6, 2019 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a Motion to set a Public Hearing Date of June 3, 2019, as the date of public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning certain property from A-1 Agricultural District to R-2 One & Two Family Residential District (Alyvia Plat 1) FORMAT: Motion SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a request for rezoning of approximately 10 acres of property from A-1 Agricultural District to R-2 One and Two Family Residential District. The property is located east of N. Warrior Lane and approximately ¼ mile north of NE Badger Lane, commonly known as 825 N. Warrior Lane. The applicant has provided the necessary consents from the adjoining property owners in order to begin the rezoning process. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for June 3, 2019, to further discuss the proposed changes. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion. ATTACHMENTS: I.
