AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting June 3, 2019, as the date of
public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning
Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning and changing certain
property therein from A-1 (Agricultural District) to K-RR (Kettlestone
Retail Regional District) [AP GPP, LLC]
FORMAT: Consent
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: AP GPP, LLC doing business as Knapp Properties
has requested rezoning of approximately 19 acres of property located at
the southwest corner of Grand Prairie Parkway and Ashworth Road. The
proposed rezoning request is consistent with the Kettlestone Master Plan.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for June 3, 2019 to discuss this matter further.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
