MEETING DATE: May 6, 2019
AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting June 3, 2019 as the date of
public hearing on the annexation of consenting properties by the City of
Waukee, Iowa with consideration of the annexation taking place immediately
thereafter [Manning Property]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a petition for annexation from the
owner of property located at R-22 (Ute Avenue) and Ashworth Road. The
annexation would include approximately 6 acres.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend setting a public hearing date for
June 3, 2019 to further discuss the annexation proposal.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
