Proposed Resolution PREPARED BY: Brad Deets, Development Services Director REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: I3A THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 19- APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A STORMWATER AND DETENTION EASEMENT ACROSS WAUKEE MARKET PLACE PLAT 2 IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal Organization; AND, WHEREAS, the City has previously approved a Grading, Detention and Overland Flowage Easement across a portion of Lot 3 of Waukee Market Place Plat 2 in Book 2018 Page 17413 (the “Easement”); AND, WHEREAS, it has been determined that a portion of the Easement as described on attached Exhibit A is no longer needed; AND, WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that the easement as described in attached Exhibit A be vacated. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 20th day of May 2019, that it hereby approves the vacation of a portion of a Stormwater and Detention Easement across Lot 3 of Waukee Market Place Plat 2. ____________________________ William F.
