AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of premises update associated with 12-month
Class E Liquor License (LE) for Hy-Vee, Inc., d/b/a Hy-Vee [1005 E.
Hickman Rd.]
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: In November 2018, Hy-Vee un-licensed a portion of
their store so that they could license that space as storage space under
their Fulfillment Center license. Recent State law changes now require
Hy-Vee to add the storage space back with the overall store liquor
license.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Police, Fire, and Development Services Departments
have reviewed the application and find no reason to deny the permit at
this time.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the liquor license.
