SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The West Metro Regional Water Strategy includes
the compilation of an inventory of existing water supply, treatment,
distribution and storage assets; identification of existing and future water
demands; various water supply strategies; and financial feasibility.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:Waukee’s share of the
study cost equals $20,649.00.

RESOLUTION 19-
APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN THE WEST METRO REGIONAL
WATER STRATEGY
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, State of Iowa, is a duly organized municipal corporation,
AND;
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee (the “City") wishes to participate in the West Metro Regional
Water Strategy, which includes the compilation of an inventory of existing water supply,
treatment, distribution and storage assets; identification of existing and future water demands;
various water supply strategies; and financial feasibility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WAUKEE, IOWA:
That the City approves participation in the West Metro Regional Water Strategy at
a cost of $20,349.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 3rd day of June, 2019.
