FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution. ATTACHMENTS: I. Proposed Resolution II. Certificate of Completion PREPARED BY: Becky Schuett REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: J1V RESOLUTION 19- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE SUPPLY OF MATERIALS FOR THE ALICE'S ROAD GAS MAIN RELOCATION PROJECT WHEREAS, on the 4th day of December, 2017, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee, Iowa, entered into a construction contract with Consolidated Pipe & Supply Co. of Valleypark, MO (Bid Package Alternate A) and Border States Industries, Inc., of Grand Haven, MI (Bid Package Alternate C) for the Supply of Materials for the Alice's Road Gas Main Relocation Project; and WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the supply of materials for the Alice's Road Gas Main Relocation Project in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on July 24, 2019. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA: Section 1. That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the materials supplied for the Alice's Road Gas Main Relocation Project are hereby approved and accepted as having been fully completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract and the total final cost thereof is hereby determined to be $148,078.78, as shown in the report of the Engineer.
