AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for El Dorado Hills Plat 1
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The subject property is located north of Ashworth Road and east of Ute Avenue. The public
improvements associated with this plat include grading, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water
main extensions. One public street will be constructed in this plat. El Dorado Hills Plat 1 includes
nine (9) lots for single-family residential development.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff is working with the applicant to address all
remaining comments.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to remaining
staff comments.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 19-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
EL DORADO HILLS PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction drawings have been submitted to the City for El Dorado Hills Plat 1;
AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 16th day of September, 2019 that the Construction Drawings for El Dorado Hills Plat 1 be
approved subject to remaining staff comments.
