Agreement [Four Seasons, LLC]
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The owners of Timberline Campground along
Ashworth Road are currently expanding their operation on previously
undeveloped property. As a part of the expansion, they have a desire to
connect into the public sanitary sewer system. In order to allow for the
connection, the property owner is required to submit a pre-annexation
agreement and voluntary annexation agreement. Action cannot be taken
on the voluntary annexation until the Hunter Hollow subdivision is
annexed into the City Limits.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The proposed Pre-Annexation Agreement protects the
City’s interest in future annexation of the property while allowing the
property owner to connect into the public sanitary sewer system prior to
annexation.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution

RESOLUTION 19-
RESOLUTION APPROVING PREANNEXATION AGREEMENT WITH FOUR
SEASONS PROPERTIES, INC. (TIMBERLINE CAMPGROUND)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, Four Seasons Properties, Inc. has submitted an Application for Voluntary
Annexation with the understanding that the conditions set forth in the Pre-annexation
Agreement, hereto attached, is approved by the Waukee City Council:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa in session this 7th day of October 2019 that the Preannexation Agreement between
Four Seasons Properties, Inc. and the City of Waukee, Iowa, be approved.
