AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting November 4, 2019 as the date of
public hearing on an Ordinance to amend Chapter 160, Site and Building
Development Standards related to Architectural and Site Design
Characteristics (Overhead Doors).
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: At a prior City Council work session, City Council gave
direction to staff to prepare a modification to the site plan ordinance related to
current restrictions on overhead doors facing an arterial corridor.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of the motion to set the
public hearing for November 4, 2019 to further discuss the proposed
ordinance.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
