AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 1 to Edge Commercial, LLC,
for the Waukee City Hall Annex Improvement Project increasing the contract
in the amount of $12,375.00
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: On October 7, 2019, the Waukee City Council approved a
quote with Edge Companies in the amount of $22,543.00 to make certain
improvements to the City Hall Annex located at 204 W Hickman Road.
Once the project began, it was determined that additional carpeting needed to
be removed and replaced which was beyond the original scope of the project.
At the request of City staff, Edge Companies revised their scope of work to
address the additional flooring replacement, increasing the quote by an
additional 12,375.00.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $12,375.00

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Approve Change Order No. 1
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the change order.
