SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Relocate 4,200 feet of 8-inch transmission line
30-40 feet west of the current location due to a road project between Horizon Point Drive
and the District Regulator Station located north of Southeast Olsen Road on Alice’s Road.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:$484,882.00

RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
AND BOND FOR THE ALICE'S ROAD GAS MAIN
RELOCATION PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, STATE
OF IOWA:
That the construction contract and bond executed and insurance coverage for the
construction of certain public improvements described in general as the Alice's Road Gas Main
Relocation Project, and as described in detail in the plans and specifications heretofore approved,
and which have been signed by the Mayor and Clerk on behalf of the City be and the same are
hereby approved as follows:
Contractor: InfraSource Construction of Kansas City, MO
Amount of bid: $484,882.00
Bond surety: Federal Insurance Company
Date of bond: December 22, 2017
Portion of project: All construction work
PASSED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of January, 2018.
