HomeMy WebLinkAbout2018-01-02-J01K Prairie Crossing Townhomes_Rezoning_Set PH AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: January 2, 2018 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a Motion to set a Public Hearing Date of January 15, 2018, as the date of public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning certain property from C-4 to R-4 (Prairie Crossing Townhomes) FORMAT: Motion SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a request for rezoning of approximately 7.97 acres from C-4 (Office Park Commercial District) to R-4 (Row Dwelling & Townhome District). The subject property is located north of NE Horizon Drive and east of NE Archer Avenue. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for January 15, 2018, to further discuss the proposed changes. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion. ATTACHMENTS: I.
