THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 18-
APPROVING THE MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF OF POLICE
FOR THE YEAR 2018
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee must annually appoint an individual to the position of
Chief of Police; AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor William F. Peard reappoints John F. Quinn as Chief of Police for
calendar year 2018; AND,
WHEREAS, John F. Quinn has served as the City of Waukee Chief of Police since
March 2014;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Waukee, Iowa on the
2nd of January, 2018, does hereby approve the mayor’s appointment of John F. Quinn as
Chief of Police for the Year 2018.
