Waukee alternate members to the Dallas County Emergency

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Dallas County Emergency Management
Commission and E-911 Commission appointments consist of a primary
and alternate member.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The Mayor will announce his appointments during the
Council meeting.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the appointment.

RESOLUTION 18-
APPROVING THE MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE
PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE DALLAS COUNTY
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COMMISSION AND E-911 COMMISSION FOR
THE YEAR 2018
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a member of both the Dallas County Emergency
Management Commission and Dallas County E-911 Commission; AND,
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Mayor to appoint primary and alternate members to the
Dallas County Emergency Management Commission and Dallas County E-911 Commission;
AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor William F. Peard appoints _________________ as the City of Waukee
primary member and __________________ as alternate member to both the Dallas County
Emergency Management Commission and Dallas County E-911 Commission.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 2nd day of January, 2018, that it hereby approves the Mayor’s appointment of members to
the Dallas County Emergency Management Commission and Dallas County E-911
Commission.
