AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of approval of a Motion to set a Public
Hearing Date of April 2, 2018, as the date of public hearing on an
ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee,
Iowa, by rezoning certain property from A-1 to M-1 (Stratford Crossing
Plat 4)
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a request for rezoning of
approximately 22.41 acres from A-1 Agricultural District to M-1 Light
Industrial District. The subject property is located west of N. 10th Street
and north of Hickman Road.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for
April 2, 2018, to further discuss the proposed changes.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
