SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: On 05/21/2018, the Waukee City Council approved
an Offer to Purchase Right-of-Way and Easements with Kristerin
Management Corp. After approval, a typographical error was discovered
in the language related to building demolition and removal. The
corrected Offer to Purchase has been signed by Kristerin Management
Corp.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:$13,178.59
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: All relevant departments approve of the application.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 18-
CORRECTING SCRIVENER’S ERROR IN OFFER TO PURCHASE RIGHT-OF-WAY
AND EASEMENTS BETWEEN KRISTERIN MANAGEMENT CORP. AND THE CITY
OF WAUKEE [NORTHWEST AREA WATER MAIN EXTENSION PHASE 2
PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on May 21, 2018, as part of the Consent Agenda, the Waukee City Council
approved an Offer to Purchase Right-of-Way and Easements between Kristerin Management
Corp. and the City of Waukee for the Northwest Area Water Main Extension Phase 2 Project
(Resolution #18-208); AND,
WHEREAS, a typographical error in Paragraph #9, Building Demolition and Removal, of the
agreement contained contradictory dollar amounts for payment by the City to the Sellers; AND,
WHEREAS, the Offer to Purchase Right-of-Way and Easements has been corrected so that the
dollar amount for building demolition and removal shall be $7,500.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
4th day of June, 2018, hereby approves correcting a scrivener’s error in Offer to Purchase Right-
of-Way and Easements between Kristerin Management Corp. and the City of Waukee
[Northwest Area Water Main Extension Phase 2 Project].
