AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving satisfaction of
University Avenue Trunk Sewer Fee Connection District [Glynn Village
Plat 3]
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The property included within Glynn Village Plat 3
was subject to the University Avenue Trunk Sewer Connection District
which was paid for at the time the final plat was approved by the City
Council.
The reference continues to show up in title opinion work for when
properties within the plat are being sold. An attorney for a current real
estate sale within the subdivision has requested that the City Council
approve a satisfaction of this connection fee as it pertains to the lots
within Glynn Village Plat 3 to eliminate confusion into the future.

RESOLUTION 18-V
APPROVING SATISFACTION OF UNIVERSITY AVENUE TRUNK SEWER
CONNECTION FEE DISTRICT–
GLYNN VILLAGE PLAT 3
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has established by Ordinance, the Connection Fee District
and Fees for connection of Property therein to the University Trunk Sewer approved on May
5, 2001 as Ordinance 2345; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee approved the final plat for Glynn Village Plat 3 on July 20,
2008 which was recorded in Book 2008, Page 14180 in Dallas County, Iowa; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been verified that as a part of the final plat for Glynn Village Plat 3, the
connection fees associated with the University Avenue Trunk Sewer were paid in full as it
pertains to Glynn Village Plat 3.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa
on this, the 2nd day of July 2018, that the obligations of the Developer related to the
University Avenue Trunk Sewer specific to Glynn Village Plat 3 were properly paid and
satisfied and there is no further obligation to pay any additional fees as it relates to the
University Avenue Trunk Sewer Connection Fee District.
