AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Daybreak Plat 3
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The subject property is located north of Ashworth Road and west of R-22. The public
improvements associated with this plat include grading and sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water
main extensions. Additionally, the applicant will construct extensions of six streets and
improvements to Ashworth Road. Plat 3 includes 46 lots for single family residential development.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time a majority of staff comments have been
addressed and Staff is working with the applicant to get the last few comments addressed.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to remaining
staff comments.

RESOLUTION 18-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
DAYBREAK PLAT 3
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Daybreak Plat 3; AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 2nd day of July, 2018 that the Construction Drawings for Daybreak Plat 3 be approved
subject to remaining staff comments.
