AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a resolution approving the application process
for inclusion in the Iowa State Revolving Fund (SRF), Water Resource
Restoration, Sponsored Project Program in conjunction with the Little Walnut
Creek Headwaters Wetland Project
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Sponsored Projects program has been implemented
through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, a loan program for
construction of Water Quality facilities and practices. The Project must
improve water quality in the watershed in which is owned by the City. Staff is
recommending that the Project include the acquisition of some additional
Little Walnut Creek head water land.

RESOLUTION 18-
APPROVING THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR INCLUSION IN THE IOWA
STATE REVOLVING FUND (SRF), WATER RESOURCE RESTORATION,
SPONSORED PROJECT PROGRAM IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LITTLE
WALNUT CREEK HEADWATERS WETLANDS PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the filing of an Iowa State Revolving Fund (SRF), Water Resource Restoration,
Sponsored Project application is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
and should be authorized.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on this 20th
day of August, 2018.
