HomeMy WebLinkAbout2018-09-04-J01I IT Truck Vehicle Purchase AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: September 4, 2018 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of receipt and file of purchase of IT Services Vehicle FORMAT: Consent Agenda SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The FY 2019 budget includes funding for an additional vehicle for IT Services. The use of the vehicle will be by the IT staff to go between the various City facilities for management of the IT infrastructure. On behalf of the IT Department, the Development Services Department requested three written quotes and received two back for a standard sized SUV. The quotes received were as follows: Shottenkirk Chevrolet (Chevrolet Traverse): $31,225.00 Stivers Ford (Ford F150): $28,218.00 FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff will proceed with the lowest quote which was provided by Stivers Ford.
