AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting September 17, 2018 as the date
of public hearing on the vacation of a Landscape Buffer Easement [Prairie
Crossing Plats 4 and 5]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Plans were recently approved for the Prairie Crossing
Townhomes on the subject property. Prior to the property being rezoned, a
larger Landscape Buffer Easement was required based upon the property
being zoned for commercial. A new Landscape Buffer Easement was
provided as a part of the final plat for the townhomes. The prior Landscape
Buffer Easement is therefore no longer necessary.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for September 17, 2018 to discuss the vacation of the existing
easement.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
