AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting October 15, 2018 as the date of
public hearing on the annexation of consenting properties by the City of
Waukee, Iowa with consideration of the annexation taking place immediately
thereafter [The Reserve at Daybreak, LLC Property]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a petition for the annexation of property
owned by The Reserve at Daybreak, LLC which is located adjacent to the
proposed Reserve at Daybreak development west of Ute Avenue. The
annexation would be for an approximately 3.14 acre property that is
contiguous to the proposed development but currently located within Dallas
County.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend setting a public hearing date for
October 15, 2018 to further discuss the annexation proposal.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
