Home My WebLink About2018-10-15-K01V Painted Woods South Plat 1_CDs AGENDA ITEM: K1V CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: October 15, 2018 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction drawings for Painted Woods South Plat 1 FORMAT: Resolution SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The subject property is located north of Interstate 80 and east of R-22/Ute Avenue. The public improvements associated with this plat include grading, water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer extensions. In addition, the developer will construct extensions of Prairie Bluff Drive and Indian Ridge Drive. Three new streets will also be constructed as part of the plat improvements. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time a majority of staff comments have been addressed and Staff is working with the applicant to get the last few comments addressed. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to remaining staff comments. ATTACHMENTS: I. Proposed Resolution II. Project Area Identification Map PREPARED BY: Andy Kass, Senior Planner REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 18- APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR PAINTED WOODS SOUTH PLAT 1 IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal Organization; AND, WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Painted Woods South Plat 1; AND, WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff, and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on this 15th day of October, 2018 that the Construction Drawings for Painted Woods South Plat 1 be approved subject to remaining staff comments. ____________________________ William F.
