AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Public Storm Sewer
Easement [Lots 1 and 5 of Indi Run Plat 1]
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City Council recently approved a final plat for Indi
Run Plat 1. After the plat was recorded, it was determined that a storm sewer
easement had unintentionally been left off of the final plat. The owner of the
lots has agreed to provide the necessary easement.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution

RESOLUTION 18-
APPROVING STORM SEWER EASEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH LOTS 1 AND 5
OF INDI RUN PLAT 1 [GENESIS HOMES, INC]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, a final plat has been approved for Indi Run Plat 1; AND,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire a storm sewer easement across Lots 1 and 5 of Indi Run
Plat 1.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
15th day of October 2018, that it hereby approves the storm sewer easement across Lots 1 and 5
of Indi Run Plat 1 owned by Genesis Homes, Inc.
