AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving a Professional Consulting
Services Agreement with MODUS [Waukee Public Library Rooftop Unit
Replacement]

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The proposed professional consulting services agreement
includes design services, bidding assistance and construction administration of
the Waukee Public Library rooftop unit replacement.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $22,500
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The proposed schedule includes bidding the project in
December and completion of the project in April 2019.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 18-
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES WITH
MODUS [WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY ROOFTOP UNIT REPLACEMENT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the services of MODUS, related to the design
development and construction and bid administration for the Waukee Library Rooftop Unit
Replacement Project; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the Agreement for Professional Consulting
Services and finds it satisfactory;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services with MODUS [Library Rooftop Unit
Replacement] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 5th day of November,
2018
