Proposed Ordinance PREPARED BY: Becky Schuett REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: J10 ORDINANCE NO. 18-_________ AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 502, WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE, TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA, BY ADDING TO SECTION 502 “PARKING REGULATIONS,” CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS AS SPECIFIED BELOW WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has determined that certain public streets should be added to the no parking ordinances. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee: Section 1. Chapter 502, Waukee Municipal Code, Traffic Regulations, Section 502.1 is hereby amended as follows: §502.1 No parking is permitted on the either side of the following north-south streets: SE Florence Drive from its intersection with SE Booth Avenue to a point 75 feet south Section 2. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
