AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a premises update associated with a 12-
month Class E Liquor License (LE) for Hy-Vee, Inc., d/b/a Hy-Vee
[1005 E Hickman Road]
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Hy-Vee recently applied for a liquor license for their
Fulfillment center in Urbandale. The Fulfillment center will deliver
liquor orders to the Waukee store for the Aisles Online program. Hy-Vee
has determined that a premise update is needed on each store license
where they will be utilizing storage space. The proposed premises update
will un-license a portion of the store so that Hy-Vee can license that
space as storage space under their Fulfillment Center license.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Police, Fire, and Development Services Departments
have reviewed the application and find no reason to deny the permit at
this time.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the liquor license.
