Change Description  New bid item 8003 for modification to Division 3 Temporary traffic Signalization to add dedicated left turn onto Hickman Road.  New bid item 8004 for modifying the traffic loops on the north leg of SE Alice’s Road at SE Olson Drive.  New bid item 8005 for adding 1” clean backfill above storm sewer pipes due to saturated conditions. We have reviewed the submitted quotes from Absolute Concrete, Inc. and they appear to be in order with current industry pricing for DOT work. If City Staff concurs with this pricing, we recommend the City of Waukee increase the contract price in the amount of $23,661.33 to complete the additional work associated with Change Order #2.
